New Collar Goods was founded in 2015, by Jon & Deana Ketchum in their garage in Denver, CO. The business started with a simple mission; to design and build the kind of furniture that they wanted in their home. The kind of furniture that was intentional and would stay around for years to come.
In 2021 Jon & Deana relocated to Upstate New York and purchased an 1800s Shirt Factory that sat dormant since the 1980’s. Their new purpose is to rehabilitate this beloved factory while continuing to craft furniture and grow their business.
New Collar Goods is a small team that builds every piece with pride and attention to detail. We aim to celebrate the natural beauty of the wood we use while creating designs that can live gracefully in any home no matter the aesthetic.
Behind the Name
With access to new design tools and building techniques, we are working towards a new era of blue-collar craft, hence New Collar Goods.
