Hygge Dining Table
Hygge Dining Table
Inspired by the design work of Hans Wegner and with the idea of Hygge in mind, we set out to make a table that would be timeless, welcoming and a bit playful.
Our intention was to create a clean and classic design that would look right at home in the Hygge Life shop (hence the name, Hygge Table), a cozy and inspiring shop nestled in to the Vail Valley, curated and owned by our friends.
The top is CNC taper-routed to create the illusion of thinner profile, while maintaining the heft and balance needed to work with the chunky tapered turned trestle leg base. Now, how’s that for alliteration? I think good. I’m leaving it.
Photographed in white oak with a natural flax oil finish.

Care:
To dust, lightly dampen a lint-free cloth and wipe clean, then wipe dry. Or, use a microfiber cloth to remove small dust particles without moisture.
Moisture and extreme heat can damage the finish on wood. We always recommend using coasters as a barrier to the surface.
The surface can be scratched. Please be mindful when placing items on it that do not have smooth edges.
Wood responds to changes in humidity and temperature. To prevent warping, we recommend maintaining consistent humidity levels and temperature in your home.
Regular sun exposure can change the hue of the wood. To avoid color variation around items on the furniture, rearrange items on its surface often.
